NATA 2024 Eligibility Criteria

Entering NATA-2024 isn’t rocket science. If you’ve completed 10+1 with PCM subjects, 10+2 with science subjects, or a 10+3 Diploma with Math, you’re good to go. But here’s the catch: just passing the drawing test won’t automatically land you in architecture school. There are a few more rules set by the higher-ups.

According to the Council’s criteria:

If you’ve passed or are appearing in the 10+1 examination with PCM subjects,

If you’ve passed or are appearing in the 10+2 examination with PCM subjects,

If you’ve passed or are appearing in the 10+3 Diploma examination with Mathematics as subjects,

You’re eligible to take NATA-2024. However, getting into the B.Arch. course has its own set of rules outlined in the Council of Architecture (Minimum Standards of Architectural Education) Regulations, 2020, and as stated further below.

It’s crucial to note that clearing NATA 2024 doesn’t guarantee admission to any architecture course unless you meet all the requirements specified by the respective competent authorities. Admission to the first year of the B.Arch. program depends on eligibility criteria, which include:

Passing 10+2 or an equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects with at least 50% marks in aggregate, or

Passing a 10+3 Diploma Examination with Mathematics as a compulsory subject with at least 50% marks in aggregate.

Keep in mind that proposals for amendments in eligibility criteria are pending approval, and any changes will be notified upon approval.

Also, reservations and relaxations in qualifying marks for reserved categories are decisions made by the Admission/Counselling Authority, not within the scope of this examination.
